Testing using load banks validates the operational performance and battery life of a system. It tests the inverter and generator under load conditions. Indeed, these tests, most often performed during preventive maintenance, can determine the condition of the inverter’s batteries and battery packs (or “strings”) and indicate whether individual cells are in good condition or approaching end of life and must be replaced.
The load bank test will ensure that the backup system batteries will work together as expected when called upon to support a critical load.
